MUSIC LINE-UP
With outstanding musical performances from an array of regional legends occurring on three stages throughout the day, New River Valley native, Drew Dodson will be kicking off the Golden Hour (more below) at 11 a.m.! In the noon hour, Jojo Stockton & Solacoustix, out of Roanoke, will be the first to take the Amphitheater stage, bringing the blues, soul, and a whole lot more! Also at noon, the Greater Pulaski Junior Appalachian Musicians will be jamming on the Gazebo stage, followed by poetry readings with local authors Clyde Kessler and Kevin McDaniel.
Next, in the pavilion, led by Justin Craig, Trio Flux will bring a classy dash of jazz and smooth covers to the ears of festival-goers, before shifting gears to the upbeat and powerful pop-rock vocals of Jimothy in the amphitheater!
With back-to-back performances in the Gazebo and Pavilion, guests will have two opportunities to catch the beautiful country songs of Lily Comer. And then, at 3:30 p.m., in come The Woogemen with the funk and blues again! Also appearing at that time (in the Gazebo) will be the Renaissance Music Academy of Virginia.
At 5:00 p.m., put your seatbelts on for a ride with Radford native and Redbud Festival alumni, Skieebo Wyms and Friends, ranging from a smooth, bluesy soul to reggae, country and R&B, before handing the baton to Nightwingz for some serious classic rock-ing in the Amphitheater!
Meanwhile, festival emcee, Tommy Edwards, will revolutionize the Gazebo stage with a solo performance of his own at 6:30 p.m., just prior to introducing the Redbud Festival headliner: the Domino Trio, led by Addie Levy, Cole Ritter & Luca Chiappara.

NURSERIES, GROWERS, PLANTS & MORE
“The soil is the great connector of lives, the source and destination of all. It is the healer and restorer and resurrector, by which disease passes into health, age into youth, death into life. Without proper care for it we can have no community, because without proper care for it we can have no life.” - Wendell Berry
Central to the festival experience is this connective, regenerative relationship with soil, plants, ecology, the natural world, and, of course, one another. While immersed in the art and music, guests will have the chance to DINE, PLAY, CONNECT and CREATE while sharing the opportunity to learn and GROW with some of very best nurseries, growers, farmers, educators, restorationists & soil healers of southwest Virginia, including the following: NEW RIVER CONSERVANCY | BLUE RIDGE GOATSCAPING | NURSERY NATIVES | FEEDING APPALACHIA | GABRIELLA THE GARDEN SAGE | WOOD THRUSH NATIVE NURSERY | DRAPER SPRINGS NURSERY & GARDENS | MOUNTAIN TROPICS | VIRGINIA NATIVE PLANT SOCIETY

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE FESTIVAL
In April of 2022, Nursery Natives opened a public poll and gathered citizen data across six months, ultimately presenting the results to Radford City Council in October of 2022. With nearly 400 citizens participating in the poll, the Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis) won outright by a wide margin over common Pawpaw (Asimina triloba). Full presentation to city council available here! (start at 22:10)
